The Future of Droppers? KS Integrates Genesys Seatpost into Prototype Bold Frame - Sea Otter Classic

KS says we can expect to see several bikes in the year 2020 with integrated posts.

Component integration has several pros and cons. For Bold Cycles, they appear to be going all in with the new KS Genesys dropper post. The 'Unplugged' prototype shown here is the first mountain bike we've seen to make use of the Genesys system, which uses the frame’s seat tube as a structural member and holds the dropper internals with a bolt near the bottom bracket. What are the benefits? Press play to hear what KS has to say:

The Bold Unplugged prototype can accept both 27.5 and 29-inch wheels, with 165mm and 161mm of travel, respectively. The shock is hidden within the frame.
