Quarq's TyreWiz Shows Real-Time Tire Pressures - Sea Otter Classic 5

Like knowing exactly what's in your tires? Link these sensors to your phone or cycling computer to know on the go.

As the years go on, we're likely to see more and more practical applications of once-expensive sensors moving into our daily lives. Quarq, the makers of ShockWiz, presented some new tire pressure sensors at the Sea Otter Classic. The TyreWiz system is compatible with any tire that uses a removable Presta valve core (tubed and tubeless), as well as tire sealants.

If connected to a phone, the TyreWiz application can deliver personalized recommendations and pressure alerts, in addition to current pressures. Perhaps most useful, we like that each TyreWiz has an LED light to indicate when pressure is outside the target range.
