Prototype Santa Cruz Syndicate V10 Testing Session

Originally published January 2009

Today was a big day in Santa Cruz Syndicate country. Steve Peat,
Greg Minnaar and Josh Bryceland showed up to the factory to check out
their new 2009 World Cup season downhill bikes. Incredible, F1-inspired
paint jobs immediately caught the eyes of all who looked on and a
closer inspection revealed something unique about Peaty and Greg’s
frames. This is the debut of their prototype Santa Cruz V10 frames that
feature a 9.5 x 3.0-inch stroke Vivid shock.

Everything about the 2009 Syndicate season is fast forward. New
bikes are ready for testing in January, instead of the week before Sea
Otter and today it was time to get to work. Littermag.com was
priviledged to tag along and document the afternoon with photographs
and video. Enjoy and start your rumors…now!
