Alex Rims has been producing quality aluminum rims and wheels since 1992, and in 2018 they're introducing their first carbon wheelset – the Recon 3.0. Estimated to run ~$1,200 USD when they're made available, the wheels may prove to be a great value in the carbon realm. The 29 or 27.5-inch, tubeless ready rims measure 30mm wide internally and are paired with 28 spokes and Bear Pawl hubs.
