Thanks for the concern. I thought the same thing. It's the new light weight spring notice how spaced out the coils are. This spring will easily travel 3", any added length is just added weight. It does look unusual when you are used to seeing standard springs though.
Spring looks pretty short on that shock (while it looks ok, because shock is 3" by specification list and same number is on spring). Just curious as i recently changed shock on my Demo to CC DB and i was given wrong spring and it looked same (too short).
