Looks like the anonymous SRAM Collective got together to downvote me. Nobody building a custom bike with choice of any component is putting those SRAM parts on it. Hope, Trickstuff... about a million other cranks, and ceramic King or Enduro would all be better. But wouldn’t make Yeti as much, or the bike would be even more overpriced!

I will believe it (fog-free) when I see it. I guarantee I fog goggles more than 99.9% of riders. I hate it, but it’s reality, and sucks in wet PNW riding, when I need goggles most.
Tell ya what - send me a pair and I’ll test them. I would love to find a pair that I can actually race enduro in! If they really don’t fog, I will write or record a review and you can publish the crap out of that. My endorsement would be significant for all the sweaty, overheating riders out there who have given up on goggles because none work. If they work, I’ll even buy a second pair.

Too bad better brakes, cranks, and BB weren’t chosen for a $10k hardtail.

It's called cultural appropriation. And it's going out of style. Feel free to remain stuck in the past.

They look awesome, but why are they $30 more than non-“Signature” version when the only difference is cosmetic? or am I missing something?

Who downvotes this?? That’s some strong anti-Twenty6 sentiment for a non-controversial comment. Seems like someone’s jealous/butthurt.
I too am sad that he is all but out of the game.

Cost is relative to durability. If you replace a $100 pedal every season then $300 pedals that last 5 seasons are a deal! Nice work though.

I am with you on Twenty6!! My favorite too. Tyler is an amazing guy and I love the grip on them. The bonus is getting them custom engraved for the win!

Great review, but what about Twenty6 Predators? Super expensive but top dogs in my book and great customer service.

If you’re lucky, you might be able to get a set. They are hands-down the best pedals I’ve ever ridden, and I’ve ridden a lot. Yes they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. That, and I’d rather support a small domestic mfg than send more jobs overseas. I don’t see any American companies proudly advertising that they’re outsourcing mfg (jobs) to Taiwan.

I call bullshit, you include Crank Brothers flats and yet don't include Twenty6? So you don't care for American manufacturing then? They are milled and made in Montana. Tyler's Predators are hands down the very finest, grippiest flats on the planet.

What about HOPE F20 pedals?? , absolutely bombproof , had a set for 2 years and still spinning like new, these replaced a set of VAULT'S which didn't last a year - pins either fell out or snapped off and the RH pedal bushes , bearing and axle wore out completely so bad that they could not be...more

It confuses me why Spank Spoon pedals grow wider with the size, not longer. My feet got longer too as I grew up not just wider :D :D. I never understood square-ish pedal dimensions. There is often a unnecesarry overhang of pedal on the side of my shoe while i still lack the support longer pedal...more

I started riding BMX in '79, then racing in '84, and raced DH starting in '98, racing Pro from '02 to '12. I've obviously spent a large portion of my life riding flats. I definitely disagree with the DMR Vault, as there's no pins in the middle, where the ball of your foot and the most pressure...more

good faceoff i think the nukeproofs are bomb. you forgot one peddle that clams to be the best in the world, the catalyst from pedaling inovations. saying that "The Catalyst Pedal from Pedaling Innovations is the world’s best performing, most comfortable pedal – period." And...
"It is the first pedal...more

These face-off articles are the best! Keep it up vital! I have been wanting to see concavity compared forever, definitely helped aid my next pedal purchase.

Alternately, one can just file off the damaged portion and unthread without damage. Where as if you break a set screw off flush yer "Screwed."

Before I start, I realize there’s a lot of subjectivity to pedal testing and I’ve not used all the pedals on here. That said, I think this comparison could be a better, critiques below.

1. DMR Vault pedals shouldn’t be #1. Their quality/reliability is not good. Based on this article, in January I...more
