That's correct. He is very light, but a hard charger. We ride a lot of rocky natural terrain type tracks.

For a lighter dude go less on the negative side, try 1 band or even zero. I put one in my old stumpy evo, had gnar dog and full to the brim with spacers prior to the megneg, afterwards I was down to 1 small spacer in the positive and 2 in the negative ... more »

I'd bet my left ball the AM will be essentially a META TR with a 230x60/65 shock and a bit more progression. I was really hoping for a high idler with half a mile of rearward axle path but I doubt that would come to fruition. I'm absolutely jizzing over ... more »

I should have held out if that's a 150/160 29'er high idle. But this META AM29 is absolutely sick and the frame was dirt cheap. Very impressed with the croissant mobile.

I really like my Code R's, but have the same frustration. I like a real instant bite point after pulling the lever, after a big day in the bike park the bite point is nowhere near where it was at the start of the day. Still heaps of meat on the pads ... more »

I don't condone this, but a little trick that's been picked up over the years. This works on current Fox 40/49. When I showed the local Fox tech this he fell off his chair lol Pump to 110psi compress the fork roughly 3cm release air pressure to 80PSI ... more »

absolutely, little birdy told me E8000 motors will be interchangeable too. I'll believe that when I see it, but the source I got this from is a good one. I'm excited. The new steps firmware is excellent and it's hard to think how they can improve that. ... more »

it will be written on the hub if it's ratchet type. The 54T is worth doing, it's crazy expensive for a small machined gear and some grease/spring but once you ride it you will never go back to a sloppy engaging hub. Plus it sounds epic if you use a very ... more »
