Great, I was considering the same thing. I do not have a autoclave oven, so I can only utilize vacuum bagging with oven cure. PM me your results after testing if you don’t mind. I will keep you posted on mine as well.

Well, I used OOA Out Of Autoclave prepreg from Easycomposites and cured this in my (big) homemade oven. The front triangle is molded in one shot in a big resin mold using a bladder. There is a debulking every 3 layers made with a simple vaccum bag.

Perfect, easycomposites was exactly what I was thinking. I haven’t built my large curing oven yet. I only have a small oven that I use for powdercoating cure that will handle parts as large as fork lowers.
I started a contract job in a Engineering and Research department where they do all of their composite and materials R&D/testing. I’m waiting for the perfect moment to ask if I can utilize their process equipment and ovens off the clock... fingers crossed. Otherwise I’m fine with building my own ovens at home. It would be really nice to make a bike frame as a side project using their processes... I mean they aren’t currently using that stuff right now haha
