"And for my next trick I'll make this 210mm One Up dropper post completely disappear!" - Frame engineer at Transition HQ.

But seriously, getting that thing to max insert (that's what she said) in an XXL, XL,.....AND Large frame is damn impressive.

A bit slacker (63.6 HTA), a bit more progressive, a...more

THE NEW SANTA CRUZ SYNDICATE V10 Downhill Race Bikes

1. Interesting they're all on 50mm stems and coil shocks. 2. I'm shocked they're still riding 203mm rotors. 3. I can't/don't believe they're not running inserts.

This was my experience with di2. I remember consciously trying to figure out which button to hit, then hitting the wrong button anyway. After 3 months I gave up.

I have been running AXS shifting for a few months and I am still struggling with the shifter. No matter what I end up hitting the wrong button several times per ride, especially when I am gassed. Have tried reversing (still happens) and the front button feels unnatural as well. Seriously...more

When I lived in Portland I tried to get a job in that cafeteria.

Chris is a good dude. I worked on their factory in Shasta Lake City before they relocated up north. Treated his people really good when he was here.

If you're ever in Portland and you have the chance to visit and tour Chris King HQ, I highly recommend it. A lot of thought went into making that place as responsible, sustainable, and pleasant to work at as possible. Bonus points if you can snag lunch at their incredible employee cafeteria.

If you didn't hit your rear derailleur against anything on your ride, then you shouldn't have bent it. For example, I've had the same GX 11 speed rear derailleur for 3 years and I've gone through 1 frame and 3 rear wheels over the same time. You've got ... more »
