Additional Info: We love European, American ans Canadian craftsmanship in matters of bike parts. Companies like Tune or Yep Components have proven that it is still possible to produce in Europe with highest quality to a fair price. Additionally we wanted to support the philosophy of UNNO by bringing components to frame from brands with a similar philosophy.

Awesome awesome bike! Just curious why you tried to “avoid parts coming from Far East?” Claiming to avoid Asian parts doesn’t add to the greatness of your bike. Also, most of your drive train and a lot of the parts that Formula use are directly from the “Far East.” I also think a lot of the parts of your other components started life in Asia as well. But again, beautiful bike!

Thanks for your feedback. You are right, the fact that we avoided parts from far East doesn’t bring greatness to the bike. Maybe we should have said it differently. And yes, the derailleur, and shifter are totally made in Far East as well as some if the raw parts of some components. At the end it was interesting process to find the right parts and identify the origin.
Cheers,
Sebastian

Formula forgings all come from the far east too, breaks and lowers. Same with race Face rims. Guess where the tyres were made, the shock too. Nice bike, the far east schooled the west in quality without them we'd probably still be running square taper cranked on €2k bikes.
And fancy watches were just marketed better than the older brands
