Tamarack Pro GRT/NW Cup Course Info 2

The stage is set for another round of the Pro GRT and the 6th stop of the NW Cup Series.  Mark your calendars for July 27-29 as Tamarack Bike Park in Donnelly, Idaho will be the place to be.

Tamarack Resort. The pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow.

Tamarack Bike Park, nestled on the West slope of Long Valley, is a hub for all sorts of recreation.  Aside from the extensive trail network on the mountain, you can do anything from zip lines to white water rafting all from Tamarack itself.  Accommodations range from the beautiful town homes, cottages or hotel rooms right at Tamarack Resort.  This year, Tamarack has also been kind enough to  offer racers the opportunity to camp on-site.

The entire valley has a strong mountain bike community boasting three bike parks within 20 miles of each other.  Add the that stunning views, big lakes, charging rivers, and the beautiful town of McCall, all within range.

Always on the quest to improve the racer experience, we listened to feedback from last years event, and racers can look forward to a lot of improvements and fresh track.  As soon as the snow melted, the NW Cup crew along with the Tamarack Trail crew hit the mountain with an agenda and the result should be tracks to please all abilities.  The Tamarack crew will continue sculpting the tracks right up to the first day of practice.

For now, here's some pics to tease your imagination.  For a closer look, watch for the pre-ride videos to come out prior to the event.

New steep Drop in section

Another angle on that one. Hard left at bottom

More direct lines down the hill. You know what that means.

The crew will be working right up to the event.
