Stem looks long for the full execution of the SBG concept. They're looking for +/- 2-3mm of fork offset. Funky awesome build though.

Hi kragu, thanks for your feedback!
I´m not yet sure about stem-length. SQLab shortest offering is 50mm, which is on this picture. This is my startingpoint, also got some different length stems here to test (40 and 35), i´ll see where i´ll end up with

I love seeing unique builds like this. Probably aren't a whole lot of bikes out there using full SQ Lab components, with Shimano and Continental. I think it came together great!

Thanks shawn! I choose my conponents by function and performance, i don't like to just follow 'trends'
Love the grip and protection of Conti tires, sq lab's ergonomy concept is great imo and i think shimano will re-gain a lot with this new groupset!

Agree, cool to see custom unique stuff... also the black stanchions + orange lowers is a cool touch.

what's the word on the new xtr brakes, better modulation than in the past?

Max power feels the same as saint with same rotor/pad combination, modulation especially in the rear is easier, don't lock the wheel that quickly
