I never understood the bottom shock mount solution. How much pressure is there on these tiny bolts? Is there any advantage?

I do think there is still a limitation in the frame / suspension design.

It's hard to agree on something if you violated their license for many years. Not the best starting point and Slik was 100% aware of what they are doing and that one day this could happen. Honestly, coming from creative industry, I always though Slik ... more »

This bike will puts you exactly where you stopped. Plus 5 more years on top of that. Get a decent hardtail. It will be fun, it will go fast and you will not need to worry about components and suspension that could be additional pain to your wallet.

Added a comment about press release Giant Releases Their Own Suspension Fork

I'm way more interested to hear the story why they actually invest in their own suspension. They use RS, Fox but also it looked like that they went big with DVO at some point, just to only drop them a year later?

Try Michelin rubber. From my experience its same grip as Stealth. Tested on Northwave shoes. Plus they are more comfy inside.

If you look at their whole line and how they touch geometry over the time, it's a painfully slow process. Canyon was never a progressive company when it comes to geometry and I think one reason is who was buying their bikes in the past.
