Additional Info

The Liteville H3 is Liteville's new agressive Trail / Enduro hardtail. The geometry is based on their All Mountain / Enduro model the 301 and with a headangle of 64deg is both aggressive and slack. Forks that can be run are 120 - 160mm travel. We've selected to go for 140mm on the Formula Selva's but can extend the forks to 160mm or reduce to 120mm should we wish to enter an endurance event and want to run 29" wheels. The bike is of the new genre of bikes that have multiple faces. It is built primarily to be a very capable agressive all rounder that you can through down the toughest of trails with tyre clearance of up to 3.0" on 650b wheels. But if you choose to go for an endurance event you can put a more traditional 29er wheel in with lighter rims and tyres and transform it into an all-day in the saddle endurance bike. Hub standards used are of the newest generation too. The front uses the new Boost standard. The rear uses Liteville/Syntace's EVO6 axle standard, which is based on the new boost standard with 12x148mm dimensions, but moves the hub 3mm to the right to provide for even spoke bracing angle and spoke tension in the rear wheel and also an improved chain line for 1x drivetrains.

Cable routing is super neat and internally routed throughout. The bike is obviously set up for a dropper post, and would we have a dropper post available for every bike, we would of course have one on here too. And we do have plans for a dropper on this bike, but we'll see that in a later iteration (think www.eightpins.at hint hint) of this build.

Wheels are Syntace's first set of carbon wheels. Coming in at a slant 1575g for both boost, and 650b with 40mm external, 33mm internal hookless rims, this is a pretty impressive weight for these wheel specs. Hubs are Syntace Hi-Torque straightpull boost hubs, spokes are double butted Sapim race spokes.

For brakes, currently Formula's DH brake the RO's are on there, but we have plans for the CURA's.

As for drivetrian, for the most part it is pretty standard, wide range XT cassette and XTR M9000 derailleur and shifter. Where we have thrown in some trickery is the cranks and the chainguide. The Cranks' are Tune's Smart Foot cranks, which are stiff thanks to the 30mm spindle yet light. We have paired them with Tune's XX1 spider and a 32tooth wide narrow ring also from Tune. The Chainguide is a BB mounted Carbocage X1 topguide and keeps the chain nicely in place. On the MK2 we are expecting to have ISCG tabs, so there would then be the option of a Taco bash plate as well.

Cockpit is proven Syntace Vector Carbon bars and Syntace Megaforce2 stem both lightweight yet strong and reliable and backed up with a 10 year warranty. Seatpost is also from the stable of Syntace until we upgrade to a dropper option.

Saddle is SQlab's 611 MTB active all Mountain / Enduro saddle which is a fitted saddle (comes in three sizes to suit) for all day riding comfort, yet has the extra length in the nose for extra control in difficult terrain and loads of kevlar protection around the exposed edges.

So this bike comes in at sub 11kg? We think this is a pretty respectable figure for an aluminium framed PLUS bike with 3" tyres, 40mm wide rims and no compromises in the component selection for the sake of saving a few grams.
