I have no idea how they are, my first day on the bike will be saturday. When you compare it to the D-Light from Sapim, when you are mounting the wheels it is harder because they are way stiffer. The weight is about the same as D-light, so heavier as CX-Ray. CX-ray are also great for cutting wood when it is...more

Yeah..actually, after I posted the comment, I took a look at your picture and you seem to be a big guy. 😁💪🏿 add that to the many park-days and it is, like you said, a no brainer.
I have king/kong-s on all my bikes and they are great little hubs; they could use a little more engagement but they are still good enough for pretty much any type of off-road riding. Beside the freewheel(5-10 days of park per year for me, if any..so not really necessary), my enduro wheel set-up differ in the fact that I choose to use sapim cx-rays. Pretty light and pretty strong; how are the Pillars?, beside that really nice color effect?

Nice bike man. Still contemplating about one but I really don't get to terms with that gray and that effect. One question, if I may: why do you chose the endurance freewheel?, I thought is was for e-bikes and hard-hitters/big-senders.

At 5'9" and a 30" inseam, I was very much a medium. My guess would be that "large" territory starts in the 5'11" mark.

I need to test it on real trails. So far, I only tested the bike on some small 50-150m xc trails in city's parks. Only after I properly ride, I can say if it really works. On these mellow xc trails, I cannot tell.I need some rocks and roots.

Basically, bar the laser engraved logo from CXP racing, it does not differ too much from the original. It is slightly narrower for improved debris clearing and pivots on bearings instead of bushings. The difference is noticeable. But, it isn't a cheap up-grade to do. Beside the actual cost of link, bearings and anodised bolts, I had to pay also custom taxes, as it came outside Euro zone. Despite that, if you can afford it, go for it.
