Handbuilding a Klunker | Hacked 1

Super rad video of Charge Bikes' Nick Larsen building up his custom klunker for the Hack Bike Derby.

Nick Larsen from Charge Bikes was one of the 17 frame builders invited to build a bike for the Hack Bike Derby event held in Somerset, in the UK earlier this year. This video documents the design and build of his bike and the race weekend itself from his eyes.

Being a locally based business, Charge Bikes' Larsen heard about the event, and was keen to be involved, he said: "I have been handbuilding frames for 25 years, I've just made fairly slow progress and this was actually my third attempt - since I was 16 years old! Charge Bikes are handbuilt, just not by me, so I felt very lucky to get an invite! This was one of the best times I have ever had on two wheels and it was great to meet all these other talented builders".
