A Great Year with the DHR
Rating:
The Good
Finishing quality on the frame is comparable to none, it was spot on perfect. Except for the minor issue they had with the first batch with the gusset on the head tube. Other than that, the Turner Customer Service has always been helpful and have been helping me out without delays and problems. And please take note I'm from Malaysia, not US or Canada. Yet still they were helpful and fast with the reply.
Ride characteristic: This bike will take you to another level, it is unforgiving and yet playful. I have been riding with a 61 Deg head angle and it has been a blast on the steeps. But still with a flat handle bar, body position is necessary since the rear end is very progressive and doesn't use up its travel like other DH bikes so quickly. But with aggressive riders, this will not be an issue. This bike like to be punished, and push to the limits. Railing corners is a dream, jumps and drops become non-existent, just let her rip. Definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a new bike for 2012. Don't miss out on this super DH rig. It's not a featherweight frame but it will take the abuse without worries.
The Bad
Only one issue that i had is the bearings getting wet after washing. Would suggest for better bearing sealing for tropical countries with wet riding conditions.
Overall Review:
Never regretted buying frames from Turner and will always stick with the best bike company out there!

This is the best pedaling DH bike there is. The bike corners like it's on rails and and jumps and pumps off of small features like no other DH bike I have ridden.
The Bad
I think the RC4 is poor match for the progressive linkage design of the DHR. Although the bike was smooth overall, I had an issue with the rear shock spiking when going over small hits at higher speeds. I also wasn't too fond of the stiff feeling the shock provided when going through "nastier" rock gardens. I really would have liked to ride the frame with a Double Barrel or Vivid Air to see how this would have changed, but seeing as the DHR is specced with an RC4 I think what I said above is fair to point out.

Turner's quality straight up sucks. I really can't word that any nicer. My ISCG tabs were out of spec, the bb threads needed to be chased, the head tube needed to be reamed, and there was burn through in the bb and the headset. The frame I got should not have made it through a quality control check. The best part was Turner's response was to file down a chain guide. The legendary Turner customer service was nonexistent in my experience.
Overall Review:
Overall, the DHR is a great DH bike, but after my experience with this frame I will never buy another Turner. Turner wouldn't return calls or emails and that is not okay in my book. The bike is not a plow bike. If you ride smoother trails with lots of jumps and berms you'd be hard pressed to find a better performing bike. If you like to plow through rocks, look elsewhere.

Next level DW pedaling goodness. Geo is just spot on. Attention to detail is straight up ridiculous. Bike hugs the ground, floats when you want it to, doesn't blow through travel and corners like a champ. It's pretty much cheating.
The Bad
I'd advise getting some Enduro Needle bearings for the shock eyelets since the link pivots a good amount, du's get eaten up quick. Vivid Air doesn't fit without some dremeling but that's pretty minor.

Between the Demo 8, M6, and Legend I've had the pleasure of shredding..... The DHR is just on another level and I could not be more syked on this frame.

'Git it.
