The Blitz to the Barrel is a 17-mile, mass-start, invitational pro race that starts near Mt. Bachelor, traverses the Tetherow Golf Club, finally ending downtown at the 10 Barrel Brewery in Bend, Oregon (where riders have to down a beer to actually finish the race!). The prize purse of $20,000 is evenly divided between men and women, with $500 primes for holeshot, best air, fastest in the speed trap and arm wrestling. Lot's of fun for riders and spectators alike.
