Description

Cairns, Australia, did not disappoint today as World Cup downhill mountain bike racers took their first practice runs of the jungle-cut race course. Conditions started off dry and fast, but were mixed up as some quick, heavy rains came in. The top riders took timed training runs to gauge speeds for the official racing to come. Loic Bruni went quickest followed by Troy Brosnan and Remi Thirion.

Sven Martin, Duncan Philpott, @maddogboris and Steel City Media were there to capture the action while dodging poisonous spiders trackside.
