Description
Photos by Dave Trumpore - The 2nd round of the NW Cup is also the first round of the U.S. Mountain Biking Grand Prix. A host of World Cup racers and locals flocked to Dry Hill in Port Angeles, Washington, the week after Sea Otter to challenge the first *real* U.S. downhill race of the 2013 season. The trees are thick, the speeds are high and while riders and teams are playing it cool on the outside at this race, we know everyone is curious to see how they stack up against one another. To put it in perspective, there are three 2012 World Cup winners present, Aaron Gwin, Brook MacDonald and Steve Smith, not to mention heaps of other talent.
