Martin Whiteley started his own black box program. This collapsible and transportable "Hot Box" can be taken up the lift to heat up the bikes at the top of the track before riders start their race runs. Oils in the suspension and brakes will be at optimal temperatures rather than warming up on the way down. Unfortunately the Scottish weather doesn't call for F1 technologies this weekend, but the "Hot Box" will be in Trek World Racing's stash of assets to make their riders go faster on race day should the need arise.
