The peanut butter mud of the Cairns World Cup downhill took no prisoners. Riders and, in this case, spectators were taken down. GNARLY!

That last view is pretty awesome haha. Besides the hilarity of the collision, it also shows the steepness. I had no clue it was steep like that there.

Also love how the camera guy is just left there to keep sliding while buddy rides off haha.

This is one of the few sports where the spectators have an equal chance as the athletes of being demolished during the event. Being a photo nerd, all I could think about was the camera...glad the mic was all that was harmed.
