Bernardo Cruz Wins Down Hill Taxco 2015, Filip Polc Series Champion 1

​With some new sections to the course and the trademark trick booter finish, the 2015 edition of Down Hill Taxco concluded the 2015 City Downhill World Tour in fine fashion. For the second year in a row Brazilian Bernardo Cruz dominated on race day, while Filip Polc did enough to secure 2nd place and take the overall series win again.

​​36 riders from 11 countries made the trip to take on one of the sketchiest urban DH tracks in the world, including Cam Zink, Mitch Ropelato, Neko Mulally, Bernard Kerr, Tomas Slavik, and of course defending champ Bernardo Cruz and series leader Filip Polc.

​The Taxco race track built by Jeremy Witek is almost 2 minutes long and features big gaps, drops, wallrides and many more artificial obstacles, with the final kickers providing a cool and most spectacular finale to the final race of the season.

When all was said and done, Bernardo Cruz was untouchable on the day and took home the 5000 EUR prize purse. Filip Polc took 2nd on the day and with that, secured his overall series win - again!

As a side event, there was a best trick competition, which Cam Zink took home thanks to a backflip nac nac.
