Nicolas Vouilloz and Tracy Moseley Win the 2013 Val d'Allos Enduro World Series 14

There it is - the second race of the 2013 Enduro World Series in Val d'Allos, France is in the bag! Graves managed to claw back a few seconds on Vouilloz on the 6th and last stage, but it was not enough - Nico the "Extra-Terrestrian" adds an Enduro World Series title to his long list of career accomplishments. Graves finishes second in Val d'Allos, and takes the overall EWS lead heading into the next stop of the series. Minnaar shows his DH skills with a blistering time on the short final stage, enough to secure a fantastic 3rd place overall - quite a bounce back from Punta Ala. The rest of the Syndicate put in a strong showing as well, with Ratboy and Peaty right up there consistently.

Tracy Moseley was untouchable in the women's - she built up a strong lead on day one, and could basically manage her runs on day two to wrap up the race and strengthen her lead in the series overall standings. Cecile Ravanel rode to a strong 2nd place, with Anneke Beerten in third.

Stage 5 Results

Stage 5 (which was run on the same track as stage 4) lasted around 15 minutes and came down to just 0.8sec between Clementz in first, Minnaar in second, and Vouilloz in third. Nico Vouilloz now moves into the overall lead by 10 seconds ahead of Graves (who crashed twice today already), with Minnaar third. Only one stage to go! Can Graves find the time on the short stage 6? After 1 hour of racing, it's incredibly close.

Stage 4 Update

Jerome Clementz took stage 4 by a few seconds, and with the riders heading for Stage 5, the men's overall has come down to under 3 seconds, with Graves still leading over Vouilloz. Minnaar is hanging onto third overall but Wildhaber (4th) is close. Moseley is holding onto the women's overall but Cecile Ravanel took the stage win and has just passed Beerten for second in the overall. It's going to come down to the wire!
