Slopestyle Fork

Edited Date/Time 8/18/2014 12:13pm
If I were to get a slopestyle frame with about 100mm rear travel (probably a blk mrkt killswitch, ns soda, or transition double) how much travel should the fork have? I think I've seen bikes like that set up with a 100mm, but i feel like a 140 might be better. Advice please
Thanks

depends on the riding you'll be doing. if you're primarily on dirt jumps and parks, 100mm should be fine. if you plan on hitting bigger stuff on gravity fed tracks on a regular basis, think about the 140. remember, the 140 will lift and slack out the bike a little bit, resulting in different handling.

ya, it would mostly be jump and what not, it just seems like it would be weird to run the same travel front and back. Thanks

It's actually very, very common to do just that. Most bikes are built to have similar travel up front and out back, usually within 10-15mm.
