I am looking to get in to Mountain Biking. I rode BMX for 11+ years and I wanna cross over. I really want to hit dirt trails and mtb trails and i really like the feel of hard tails as opposed to full suspension.
So my questions what is a good starting bike right around or under 800 dollars.
ive been looking at the
Kona Downside
Specialized P series
and
Diamondback Assult
Are these good bikes that will be able to handle everything? Any other Suggestions

since you're in geneva, ray's indoor MTB park in milwaukee or even the one in cleveland could make good road trips for you to get out of the snow and on the bike!
