Nukeproof snap questions?

Starting freeride/DH and thinking of starting on hardtail, found a nice Nukeproof snap, i know its a DJ bike, but if i put the right forks on would its ability to cope improve? (cus the geometry of it aint bad) and im thinking the DJ forks will pop pretty quick. and any suggestion on forks?

Check fox talas forks or manitou. Rockshox argyle or pike would rock. Dj3 is a beasty fork that said

perhaps it's more of a 4x frame.

anyway, have you considered a fox 831 fork?
