Specialized Status 1 is $2500.The Specialized Enduro Comp might be more what you're looking for, but it's $3,500. Maybe a Giant Reign 2, $2,400.
If you're looking to pedal more than DH/FR I'd look at something like the Reign.
For the reign, is it possible to run a single chainring up front with a chain guide on it? If so how easy is it to set up? Thanks for any feedback because I'm in dire need for a new bike that I can do it all with (but mainly jump and pound the piss out of)
