UPDATE: Voting was about as tight as it gets, with only a handful of votes deciding the outcome. Przemek Kita's "On the Gas" eventually came out on top, and among those who voted for his shot, Vital member Mateusz Handzlik is this week's lucky winner - both Przemek and Mateusz will receive the rad Super helmet from Bell!

Though the line between gravity mountain bikes and cross country machines has been blurred the last couple years, most associated equipment is still high-contrast - either overbuilt for DH gear or wispy light for XC. I voted for that shot too. I have one problem with the new award set up in that it might work to skew the results. You might end up with some greedy voters who just check who's winning and vote for that shot, instead of the one that they like the most. If I'm on the fence, I usually vote for the underdog.

They should block the poll results until after the user has voted. That may help a bit.

We are working on sorting this issue out - seems like there is a bug allowing users to see results before voting, which was not meant to be the case...in the meantime, this one seems too close to call already, so good luck piling on those votes Smile .

Doesn't look like it will happen as of right now. But I'm still stoked people like it! A lot of planning went into it

The bug has been sorted out now - users will only be able to see the current standings of the poll AFTER they cast their vote.

Killer shots! Really digging Mike and Kurt by Chris Pilling. Makes me feel like I'm third in the train, rallying berms and boosting lips.
