General Info
Enduro Race courses here in the Northeast have been essentially multiple stages of straight DH so I want a mini-DH bike that is light enough with a shock that has a Climb-switch that works. Here it is: my dream build before my daughter comes in late July. Hugely overlooked frameset for a ripper enduro bike. I have a carbon aversion so the only carbon here is the saddle and headset spacers. This will be trail-ridden, park abused, enduro raced, and generally ridden for big fat grins all over the place. Not stupid light but light enough for just about anything.
I am not a fan of matte paint and all black so since I did custom paint and airbrushing for years I went ahead and re-painted the frame. Dupont basecoat and 2-layers of Chromaclear only added 23 grams once cured!
The weight is without pedals as your pedals could be 200g heavier than mine!
